Donauvillino Cotons are located in the small village of Uttenweiler in a South German region called Oberschwaben. Uttenweiler is about a one-hour drive northwards from Lake Constance. Uttenweiler is also close to the river Danube. Therefore, my kennel name is a composition of these facts: Donau is German for Danube and Villino is Italian for a small mansion or country house.
My kennel is registered with VDH/F.C.I. since November 2003 which means I have to respect the strict rules of these organization to get their worldwide approved pedigrees.
I breed Cotons with love and passion! An individual style, attention to details, heartiness, and care - it’s the little things that make a tremendous difference.
My dogs live with me in my family and the puppies grow up in the living room of our house. Donauvillino puppies are well socialized and learn many things for their life. I am a small breeder with only one or two litters a year because I want to breed quality not quantity. I love to show my dogs at dog shows in whole Europe and so I'm happy to have friends from all over the world.
My goal is to breed best possible Cotons for my own breeding program. Usually puppies "vom Donauvillino" are reserved before they are born.
I want to mention that our puppies never leave our home until they are 9 weeks old and we do not sell to people who we never get to know personally or at least having close contact if they are from a foreign country. I'm very happy if I welcome my "Donauvillinos" at our yearly puppy meetings.
I NEVER ship my puppies via cargo!!! Either I personally deliver my puppies to facilitate the transfer and the bonding with the puppy or the new owners pick up their new family member. From my hands directly to yours - it is definitely the best way for the puppy and for me.
If you accept this, don`t hesitate to contact me for more info about planned litters or the breed.
Sincerely Anne Vischer
